VEG was primarily founded to connect Viennese Energy Economists/Scientists. The group's communication tool is a mailing list and there are quarterly meetings scheduled in Vienna. The mailing list is also open to interested people from outside Vienna. The only prerequisite for membership is that academic tools in the energy field are applied. All members are expected to actively contribute to the mailing list as well as to the quarterly meetings.
Goals
- Discussion of (current) energy topics,
- Distribution of academic articles / working papers,
- Distribution of information on conferences, events, jobs, etc.
